Starting a "on the side" animal photo business
I have been interested in photography for very long and although many people, must say mostly friends and relatives, advised me to make a business of it I do not have the confidence to do that. But now that I am really getting involved especially since Digital came along and want to expand and acquire some specialist lenses but cannot afford it I am now considering to get into a sideline business which hopefully will enable me to buy these lenses. I just do not have a clue how and where. Is there someone out there who can just give me some idea.
Thank you

I spend too much of my life on TPF!
In my opinion you still can take great professional images with those "specialist lenses" i mean ya sure I want to get a some primes for studio and portrait work but for now my stock zoom lens works wonders. If you still dont want to do more professional type work with the lenses you have now then I suggest you do smaller projects. For example maybe try to get jobs where you take a simple portrait for someones business card (its not going to be blown up huge) doing animal photos isnt a bad idea either. I wouldnt worry so much about your equipment as long as you have 1 lens that you can get by with.
