Wedding Photogs: worst wedding?

what was your worst wedding experience? how did you handle it?

Semi forced marriage. Greek orthodox parents. The girl got pregnant. There was no bucks night because most of the groom's friends were under age. No one smiled the entire wedding.

How did I handle it? Just shoot waaaay more photos than normal. Occasionally I did actually hit someone with a hint of a smile.

I did a house wedding once with about 3000 people stuffed in a living room. The ceilingfan lights made the ceiling about f/5.6 and the floor was about f/1.2.

I also shot all of this on film with an old Nikon N8008 and a manual Tokina 28-80mm f/3.5-?.

I had a blast and learned a LOT about Photoshop and scanning negatives over the next month. I wound up with around 120 shots in their album and they loved it (it was a freebie shoot for friends as a wedding present).

I would do it again in a second but I have arranged to not to have to. LOL
