Pre-scout some great locations using Panoramio on Google Earth, then choose which you really want to shoot yourself. Get set up early in the mornings for dawn shoots at those locations, enjoy the scenery while driving during the day when between destinations, picking off snapshots here and there, set up again for dusk shoots, then get some rest and do it again the next day.

Process it all at the end of the trip. For the dusk and dawn stuff in particular, be on a tripod and bracket your shots for the best possible outcomes when you get down in the editor later. If you do that, you won't have much trouble doing HDR or just masking in properly exposed skies with their properly exposed landscapes from one of the other bracketed shots.

Skimmed your posts back to beginning of 2011 to try to find some of YOUR art.....nothing?? I guess "godly" artists such as yourself need not actually do art...just chat about it? Try Match.com if your lonely, big guy....just a suggestion
