Haha. Reminds me of the Calvin and Hobbes cartoon when Calvin asks his dad why old pictures were always in black and white.

These are awesome.
The picture of Cascade Idaho with all the cars packed on main street, towns around here still look EXACTLY like that!!!

That first pic (and the more famous close-up) of the mother during the Depression was shot in Nipomo, CA, about 30 minutes from my hometown of San Luis Obispo.
