The last picture is nice, but try to get lower and closer to the subject when he's doing stuff down the stairs. It will make the trick look bigger than it actually is. The guy doing the tricks will appreciate it

Oh, and fisheye! Don't use it for everything, but fisheye does work well with extreme sports such as skateboarding, BMXing and fruitbooting (inline :p ).

yeah all i had to work with was the kit 18-55mm lens.
And the 18 wasnt really cutting it. If i had a fisheye or wideangle i would have definitely gotten closer. thanks for the crit

I might also recommend having the boarder off-center. IMO it would add depth if its showing where he's going (to fall). LOL
