    I downloaded GIMP

    This should be fun.

    Any suggestions?

    I do this for fun.

    a Sony DSC H50
    a Canon 30D
    a Canon EF 28-105mm f/3.5-4.5
    a Sigma 30mm f/1.4

    I actually wrote a post recently at The Discerning Photographer about 'Photoshop Alternatives' that you might find useful. I didn't find Gimp easy to get started with. Some of the best info I found online from a Gimp user was at iffles.com
