Animales! C&C if you want to.

Just a few photos of various animals that I have come across.

The head is a little OOF in this one. I forgot to stop down the aperture. XP

    Wow, those are SHARRRP.

I really like the one of the hissing racoon! He's so mad, he'd doubled in size by putting all his fur up! Cute!

The dog (?) is verrrry sharp (you applied USM to cover the tiny flaw of a too widely open aperture?), and I do miss his ears. I always think that once you start to include an animal's ears in your frame, you should definitely go all the way...

The bird photo makes me envious. How could you get THIS close to a little creature that CAN FLY AWAY?!?!?!? (And they invariably do just that when I try to get near them!)

    Thank you. ^^
Yeah, I used USM on the dog. I'm kind of addicted to it. Heh.
The loss of an ear does kind of bug me. But I'm just really glad I managed to get this shot.

And I think the bird might have been injured. I walked right by it and it didn't move so I just decided to see how close I could get to it. So I did. And I got this shot before it fled. It was a very rare situation...
