    If it was put on wrong the first time and forced, it is more than likely damaged. However the first time I put on my 50mm, it was a very tight fit. They all are (if you read on other forums, its VERY common). They all loosen a touch after a few changes.

    Careful attaching lenses. you could attach an incompatible lens and then have to take it to a shop to get it off. GRRRR!!! Been known to happen.

    And by now you know if it came with a card or not. In any case I'll bet the card is very small.

    I got a 16MB card with one of my cameras (can't remember which one) and I never used it. Never used anything less than 1GB and generally get 2GB (don't want to lose 4GB of stunningly useless photos all at one time so swap them out.) (Only lose 2GB of stunningly useless photos at any one time that way.)

    Only premium 8GB cards for me. I shoot only RAW and swap or backup often.

    I carry around 4 X 4GB cards, never had one fail yet, be sure to buy high quality cards, don't cheap out or you could get a fake.
