If you had to choose ONE lens

    Which one would it be.
    Remember, ONE lens.

You never specified what type of lens, so I am going to choose the huble telescope. lol it is one giant lens, and the things you can do with it are remarkable

    Does it have to exist?
Does it have to be something we already own?

(this topic comes up once in a while in various forms... what is the nicest lens you have used? what is your favorite lens? What is the best portrait lens? ...etc...)

It would be difficult for me to choose just one. I shoot primes so its like asking a painter to paint with just one brush...

yea it has to exist, doesnt have to be limited to one you own.

I wouldn't be able to pick just one...

I like primes, so that means a lot of lenses...

If I HAD to choose one lens, I would buy a bridge camera with a nice zoom lens.

Come on. We did this not more than a week ago (12/22) in a different part of the forums.

    http://www.thephotoforum.com/forum/p...hat-would.html

And I still vote for the Nikon AF-S 10-600 mm f/1.2G ED IF VR.
