A Couple Bird Shots C&C (What bird is it?)

Here are a few shots I took yesterday of a bird that flew into my yard so I snapped some shots. Anyone know what bird it is? Thanks!

PS. I think the D90 did a pretty darn good job for theses being ISO 1250

Yep, YCNH. Very nice images (especially #2 although the head position is better in #'s 1 and 3). You could have gotten away with a bit less DOF to blur out that boat in the BG. A little fill-flash would lighten up the face and really make it over-the-top.

You have a boat in your yard?

Well me and my friend were getting ready to go out and we spotted the bird so i threw on the 70-200 and took some shots.

I do have a boat in my yard but that's my neighbors sailboat haha.

If I could go back I would definitely use some fill flash and better composition. About the less DOF I wanted to have the sigma at around f/4 for the better IQ since it isn't always the best at f/2.8.

    Thanks for your comments!
