What we do for the right angle, lol.

    Only photographers understand why.

These are really under exposed. In the effort for getting an interesting angle, exposure took a back seat, unfortunately. In the shot of you, I notice there is no flash or trigger on the camera. With the rows of fluorescent lights, you either need to correct that in WB, correct that in pp or bring your own light. I tried some correction to get the colour where it likely should be, but this is a reshoot, imo. Their eyes are still heavily shadowed and without any whites.

Yeah, when I saw this first thing I said was "well that shot is going to be waaaaay underexposed"

With no fill flash, that angle of shot will never work out.

Honestly, I do not get the pose either, are they smelling the bowling balls? Are they playing with the hand dryer? Just looks awkward and does not tell a good story. Getting interesting angles is always a good thing, but make sure there is a point to it.

While I am glad you are willing to potentially get dirty for a particular angle, what I ask is why you decided this angle?

I see your friends are bowling, however the angle you chose eliminated the bowling balls and bowling lanes from the image. So to the viewer, this would be a seemingly random snapshot that could be anywhere.

I also noticed that you didn't directly ask for C&C, so maybe these are just things to look out for in the future.

Was this a commision? I don't really... get it... the shots aren't great. The image of the 2 gals is so underexposed and the last image looks awkward. I've often found that when i shoot from that first angle you've chosen, it's not entirely flattering and models often hate it.

But at least you have an excuse to reshoot

Yea it was in a dark bowling alley. I hate my pop up flash and yes, an sb-600 will soon be on top of my d7000. I was shooting manual mode and bumped up my ISO to 6400. They were playing with the hand blower to get the herbal escences look. I know these aren't great pictures as it was dark, wasn't using a flash and wasn't using a very fast lens (I got a 50mm 1.8 en route to me as week speak) but I did want to show what will do for the right angle. As I did get laughed at and got a couple weird looks lol. Thanks for the tips though!

The reprocessed one looks a bit better! Yay! Very grey though.
It is sweet that you will get your bum dirty for a fun lil shot! I only tend to do it on proper shoots - keep it up

Thanks, I did drop the saturation/vibrance down. Here is a redo.

The callibration may be waring thin on my laptop but now it appears pink! I think it's a little bit of a lost cause but if it's a shoot you really wanted to take seriously, you know in yourself what you done wrong because you've pointed all the errors out yourself so we can all forgive a candid shot of fun!

It is just a bad photo. No amount of editing will suddenly cure that. It is nothing to sweat, use it as a learning experience and move on from it. That is the only real value that can be pulled from this image.

Why don't you tell me why you think it does work? Take a good unbiased look at it and see if you can point out any fundamental flaws....
