    Need help with some projects...

hi, i am not a very pro photographer, well at least i had only taken less than 50 pictures in my entire life. I like taking photographs, but my camera isn't good enough (well i am not going to waste my money on those cameras...at least i am not allowed to get one of those) My camera is kinda slow, so after you press the botton, it waits few seconds then it takes the picture.

Can anyone suggest an good idea for a grade 8 to take? My teacher wants it to be interesting and i need to write a essay on it... So far i know what someone had already chosen..

rocks, shadows, water, trees, paper airplanes, snow, paper ship, reflection...

    i only remember the followings....

so what can i do? for my level of taking photographs...

    5 photographs... for good copy

and i need to take 20 pictures and let her see which one is fine..

at least give me 5 pictures that i have stuff to write about and the teacher will be impressed if you don't have any ideas...

    Thanks.

Hi Krisco, welcome to the forum.

First, I think that the question is what do you like enough to take photos of and write an essay on?

It doesn't really matter that your camera is slow, when photography was new it could take a half an hour or more to take a photo. what you need to do is to make sure that the camera and the thing that you are taking a picture of do not move. Just put your camera on something solid and take away.

If you can't think of anything, look around for something that looks like you might see it in a painting, and then just make it look like the best painting that you can.

    Hope this helps.

    mike
    Luck favors the prepared.

To be in the right place at the right time you have to first be in the right place.

Do you really care which camera I use?
