need help sorting my photos

good day,

i'm looking for a program, preferably freeware, that can help me sort through my RAW photos offline in preperation for uploading to stock sites. i know there are alot out there, but i'm looking for recomendations on which one(s) i should really give a try.

i do my editing on PS and Lightroom so i don't need the program for that. i just need it to help me sort, tag and keyword, and group. while helping me keep the model releases easy to find per photo.

if it can auto resize my photos and help me keep track of pricing as well that would be a great plus.

if you know of any software like that please do share the wealth!

thanks,
Luigi

re: need help sorting my photos

Based on what you stated, Lightroom is an excellent tool for the purpose. Depending on the stock agency you work with, there should be a plug-in that can be used allow for automatic resizing. There are plenty of meta data options for storing information that will allow you to sort and retrieve photos quickly.

+1 on Lightroom. When you learn to use it, it's awesome. Well worth the money.
