I spend too much of my life on TPF!
What should I be looking for when getting a Backdrop
I have been thinking about getting a few backdrops but I have never worked with one before. What should I look for?
Also, I am looking for some good lights and could use some advice there too!!
I don't want to spend a ton of $$ but want somthing I can grow with.

No longer a newbie, moving up!
if you're going scan your photographs, or if you are using a digicam and are going to insert a background in Photoshop, you should select a colour like Neon Green which will facilitate the easy creation of a mask.

if you use backdrops make sure they are non-reflective/matte, it makes it much easier to photograph... I usually use plain black or white cloth/paper backgrounds (a bedsheet is a good alternative). For fancy stuff I just alter my images in Photoshop. I just don't like pre-made backdrops...
Concerning light, ebay is always a good source
