    wanting a zoom lense..

    looking at these 2 lenses

    http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc...6_III_USM.html
    and
    http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc...Autofocus.html

    the first one is just an autofocus and the 2nd one is a USM autofocus. whats the difference and would either one of these be a good lense?

    USM = UltraSonic Motor.

    USM motor is faster and extremely quiet.

    after reading some reviews on both it seems they are pretty much junk and u get what u pay for. now im leaning towards the 70-200m F4 L USM AF lens. it cost alot more but id prolly be alot happier with it.

    you would be. I'm hoping to get the same lens myself.
    KEEP THIS IN MIND IF I CRITIQUE YOUR PHOTO
    This was an open minded opinion and I tried to make it more meaningful than just tearing the photo apart. I simply highlight what I find to be a strength or a weakness that enhances or degrades the quality of an image. I want it to be clear that I respect your right to agree or disagree with my viewpoints, but hope that they may have given you some insight or further understanding when you compared and contrasted my views with your own.
