    Canon equipment - Bodies and lenses and flashes...anything else?

    So... Why dont they make filters? Does Nikon make filters? Why not?
    Canon EOS 7D
    Canon EF 70-200mm F/2.8L USM

    Nikon makes some filters. Not a lot, but some. I'm not sure if Canon makes any filters; I haven't heard of or seen any.

    I wonder why, most people use filters, filters are made of glass and are infront of your very expensive lens, why not make quality filters (canon and nikon)

    Canon does make filters.

    Nikon and canon probably have them outsourced from Hoya, B+W or Cosina.

    In my limited experience, my third party multi-coated filters have less reflection than my Canon single-coated filters.
