    Printing at Wedding or Event

Any suggestions on good, cost effective equipment and software to use to print up to 5x7 or 8x10 quickly at a wedding or event?

Yes of course, I know a site where you can do this easily and cost-effectively: Photo Books | Photo Album. Check that out. Cheers!

Hi Jim, welcome to the forum. (you too bernard.bert)

I would suggest that you not print at weddings. First, most shooters that I know want that extra time to polish their photos so that they are giving their best effort- in keeping with the seriousness of the event. Secondly, there is already enough going on at your typical wedding that anything else is going to come off as a side show and you don't want to look like a Carnie. (nothing wrong with being a Carnie unless you are trying to hawk your wares at a wedding)

As to general events (assuming you can find one in this economic climate) if you have access to power then look for one that has an LCD on board and can do crops. Check the B&H link above.

On batteries you should still click the link although a fulfillment site that will host galleries and a few hundred business cards would probably be better. Check their mailing prices and do shop around. A search on this site will give you a few hints on where to start.

    good luck

    mike
    Luck favors the prepared.

To be in the right place at the right time you have to first be in the right place.
