Need help with a flash shoe extender/ or flash bracket

I am hoping that someone can assist me with this, I am looking for a cheap adapter that mounts to the accesory shoe (Flash mount) so tha I can extended my wireless shutters height. The reason being is that when the wireless shutter is mounted I cannot pop up the flash because it bangs into it. So far the only items I have found was a flash extended that mounts underneath the camera and extends to the outside not to mention some of them are $49-75 which is too much. What I am more or less seeking if they make such thing is a riser 3 inches if possible that mounts directly to the flash shoe

Why? The pop up flash is almost useless.
