    If you are looking for a low cost standard zoom lens with wide angle, the kit lens 18-55mm IS lens is not too bad.

    You can also look in Promaster 19-35mm F/3.5-4.5. It is made by Cosina and it is made under few other brands as well.

    I bought one used for $70 and it is not too bad. It works with FF/Film camera as well.
