    I took it as well but wouldn't buy something. Lens caps aren't THAT big a deal for me personally.

    wpictor, excellent that you are doing a design project so early! If you need advice let me know I am an aerospace engineer who loves photography (well obviously I am here...).

    If you want an example of how NOT to design a lens cap, check out Carl Zeiss. Sometimes I think they include them as a joke...
