GoPro or Pentax optio WG-1 ?

Hi all & great job with this forum!

So, I have one main dilemma: Should I purchase the GoPro camera (Link) or the Pentax Optio WG-1 (Link) ?

I want to use it for everything and everywhere. Ove of my main concerns is the 5Mega Pixel Quality of the GoPro which is quite low compared to the 14Mp of the Pentax, but then so is the Pentax's video compared to the GoPro's. Pentax is also more expensive but has an optional GPS function which would make it great (if it did work everywhere!). Some other factors which would help me decide would be weight, size, dark adaptation (both photo & video).

Any experiences out there with either of them?
