Which camera should I buy?

Hello, I am in need of a new camera. I had a Canon 50D before, and it was great but I would really like something smaller.

My budget is about $950, including a lens
I want something smaller than a DSLR, probably a mirrorless camera
It must have a flash hot shoe and record in 1080p
I need a good quality wide lens, 30mm equivalent or less. So any systems that don't have something like that available are out

I really like the NEX-5, but the lack of a hot shoe and any decent wide lenses kind of kills that option

At least you can share the flash between your 50D. But wait, you still have the 50D, right?

The G12 doesn't take 1080p video and teh G1X is not out yet. I don't have the 50D anymore
