HELP: Stupid Queston on my Tripod Head!!

I can't get my 484RC2 tripod head off my 190XPROB legs so I can install my new tripod head.

How do I take this thing off? I thought it just unscrewed from the legs but when I turn it the head just turns 360 degrees but does not loosen...

    Help please...

Look up from the bottom. There's three screws that can be driven in from below. Maybe one of 'em got tightened up.
    Go forth and actuate!

like sparky said, the 3 safety screws most likely the culprit, if not, make sure your friction adjustment is tightened up or it will just pan and not loosen up.

3 screws not in the way. I tighten the ballhead all the way and it just makes it harder to turn. It does not loosen the thread. Darn...

It's clearly broken and completely non-functional. You should immediately send it to me (postage-paid) for proper disposal.
