if you have a little money i would suggest renting the 10-22mm and checking it out in the city. it will not distort like a fisheye and should help getting some good shots of the old parts of town.
Canon XTi
Canon kit lense 35-80mm
Quantary 70-300mm
Canon 50mm 1.8
Tamron 17-50mm 2.8 non VC

What will it do for you?
In the words of P.T. Barnum, if you buy it, it will part a fool from his or in this case her money.
Amateurs worry about equipment, professionals worry about time, masters worry about light.
I can honestly say that there are two most remarkable men in the world today. Michio Kaku is one, and I am the other. Between us we cover all knowledge.
Kaku knows all that can be known....And I know the rest.
"Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery. Today?
Today is a gift. That is why we call it the present."
