I spend too much of my life on TPF!
Help my brain hurts!!
I want to buy a DSLR camera, I have never owned one. I want to be able to take and sell photos of my travels. I have been told by many I should give photograpy a try. I currently use a RC Airplne to take low level shots of various landmarks with a Pentax S4 and S5. I want to expand my work a bit into pro kind of stuff. Put all things aside and in black and white please tell me what DSLR I should buy. I am not rich so keep it cheap. Landscapes and portrits. A little macro in there to.
With that said could someone please help me.

Been spending a lot of time on here!
Landscape, portrait and macro photography all depend on the lens, not the camera. There are literally dozens of choices when it comes to DSLR cameras. Decide what features you think you might need, then go look at some DSLRs in a camera shop and hold them in your hand. Ask the staff if you can snap a couple of shots through them just to get a feel for how the camera works. Don't let someone else tell you what camera to buy. You'll be much happier in the long run if you make the decision for yourself.
