Travel Tripods
I am looking for a good quality semi-heavy-duty tripod suitable for traveling with and setting up on a beach. I know there are some good small ones out there but the style of leg would not be good for a sandy beach. Ideas?

Welcome to the forum... for beach photography I always just bury a bit of my monpod or the tripod legs into the sand to help stabilize it... make sure the tripod isn't a low quality metal or make sure to wash it very well.

I simply abuse my tripod and clean it up later.
