    What zoom lens?

    I'm looking at a 55-200mm...
What's your opinion about the following:

    Canon EF 55-200mm f/4.5-5.6 USM
    Sigma 55-200mm f/4-5.6 DC F

The sigma is cheaper but has better reviews on www.photodo.com
    Are there any other options?
    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

First of all, I would avoid that website/store. Check out their ratings HERE
Same old scam. Stick with a good retailer like B&H or Adorama.

As for the lenses...they are both cheaper quality lenses and not very fast (small max aperture). I wouldn't expect a high performance out of either of them. The Canon is a regular EF lens, which means it can be used on 35mm film SLR cameras as well as an Canon DSLR. I think the Sigma is meant only for DSLR cameras with APS-C sized sensors (like your rebel).

In that focal range, I'd suggest looking at the Canon 70-200 F4 L or the Sigma 70-200 F2.8. Of course there is also the 70-200 F4 L IS, the 70-200 F2.8 L and the top of the line 70-200 F2.8 L IS.
There's no correlation between creativity and equipment ownership. None. Zilch. Nada. Actually, as the artist gets more into his thing, and as he gets more successful, his number of tools tends to go down. He knows what works for him. Expending mental energy on stuff wastes time.
