It's Time for a Second Camera
Hey all,
I've been doing weddings for a few years now using Fujifilm FInepix S7000 and I'm ready for a second camera...Not necessarily a Fujifilm although they're reliable.
I'm thinking Canon...at least 10-12 MP...Crisp hi res hi detail image...easy simple and user friendly (like my mac)
I'd also like to be able to attach extra lenses...
suggestions please.
thanks.I love photography DEEPLY. Here's my other passion.

Canon Rebel XTi would fit that bill....but I think, for ease of use, D40x might be better for you.. it really depends, then again, where you're shooting weddings you're going to need low light capabilites and fast lenses... the D40x kind of loses out there with no AF primes for it, and only 3 focus points... just thought i'd present another option for you.

That's like someone saying they have been driving NASCAR for a few years with a Dodge Caravan.
Get yourself a Digital SLR camera and a good lens...you will be a much happier shooter. Start by looking at the Canon Rebel XTi or 30D, also look at the Nikon D40, D40x or D80. Pentax and Sony also have good entry level cameras with a good selection of lenses (the Sony uses Minolta Lenses). There's no correlation between creativity and equipment ownership. None. Zilch. Nada. Actually, as the artist gets more into his thing, and as he gets more successful, his number of tools tends to go down. He knows what works for him. Expending mental energy on stuff wastes time.
