Barcelona

A couple weeks ago my wife and I went to Barcelona for a week on vacation.



Barcelona is a fantastic city with architecture dating as far back as 200BC. A lot of the gothic churches are open for general tourism and provide for some of the most dramatic architectural scenes one can imagine.






Barcelona sits on the Mediterranean and is known for its wide variety of sea food and other gastronomical delights.







The city itself is a living museum; around every corner there is a beautiful piece of history preserved. Catalans seem to take pride in their history as is clearly displayed in some of the most impressive Art and History museums I have ever visited.







The night life in Barcelona starts LATE! Lunch at 2:00pm, Dinner at 10:30pm, Bars close...... I’m not sure they do....



If you have been to Barcelona, I am sure you are planning to go back; if you have not been to Barcelona I would highly recommend going.
