Junior and LL Baseball
Had fun shooting some Little League Baseball this weekend. Any feedback would be great. Shot with 300 2.8 for bigger kids and 70-200 with 1.4 TC for the little kids.

I really like the first one. The color saturation, sharpness, and exposure are spot on. My only gripe, and it's very minor, is that his feet are chopped off. However, the focus in his face and eyes more than make up for it.
The last two are really good as well. You can really see the level of effort on their faces with trying to hit that ball!

These are all great in my opinion. I think the crop is a tad tight on some, but nice work regardless! Did you shoot through the fence on any of these?

I know this is an older thread, but I've been going back and forth between the 70-200 vs a 300 prime for shooting kids sports, more targetting the smaller kids like in some of your shots. Do you prefer your zoom + 1.4 TC, or the 300 prime for these shots, if you had to choose one if you were starting over. Planning on putting it on a 7d body.

Nice solid series of images. Timing with the action was right on. Baseball is such a boring sport to shoot, you captured some of that "rare" excitement.
