Surfing shots from Cabo San Lucas - C+C
I was about ready to take the bus to leave Cabo San Lucas when I saw these guys surfing in front of the hotel. I had my camera with me, so I grabbed the 75-300 lens, and managed to get a few shots before having to leave. I did not have my polarizer with me, but still, the shots are decent, I feel... By the way, this is like 2PM with a bright, desert sun hanging overhead, so I know there were going to be some dark shadows, but that's kind of the nature of the sport.

Love em!! BUt they have shadows around their face and maybe you could have zoomed in a bit. And number 2 is the best, haha!

Sorry, but these are already taken at 300mm and cropped, so no more zoom available from my current lenses... I wish the pighting was better, but as I mentioned, it was mid day sun, and I had to run to get these...

OK, I see what you mean... I actually have one of the aerial as he is leaving the wave, but his body is a bit blurred. I only had a chance to take pictures of 4 or 5 waves before I had to run to the airport, so I am happy with what little I did manage to get in the 15 minutes or so I was there. But I appreciate your tip, and will use it next time I take some surfing shots. By the way, what lens do you use?
