    Cool CS3 and Vista

    CS3 and Vista. My Raw files could not be opened in Vista for some Reason.Am I doing something wrong?Any help would be great.

    If your profile is correct and you use a 50D, make sure you have the latest ACR from adobe. It should have the correct raw codec.

    I have Vista Home Premium and CS4, works like a charm , but I also have latest Canon codecs installed, maybe something is wrong with codecs or PS itself...
    Do you get any messages or something when you try to open raw file with PS?

    I am not sure this is the right forum for this question, but I am currently have CS3 installed with Vista SP2 and have no problems. Can you post the exact error you are having?

    You will need from Adobe, DNG Raw Codec this allows you to see DNG's in Vista.
    Adobe ACR (camera raw) 4.6 for CS3, 5.5 or 5.6RC for CS4
    Canon Raw Codec 1.6, CR2 files will then be seen in CS3/4.
