Everything is fine and dandy. I was super busy with a wedding gig, a maternity shoot and had a couple girls softball games to shoot.

my internet crashed in the middle of uploading, then when i tried for the second time, it crashed again. I'm going to try a third time, I hope that's OK.

I'm trying my best to find time this week but I'm just not sure it will happen. Hopefully the game will start to pick up again. The participants are really dropping off in numbers.

I'm in... They were about eight minutes late because it kept telling me one of my photos was too large in size. ?? Oh well, it finally took them!

How large of file sizes are yall submiting on this? I was running short on time (imagine that with this game!) and reduced them down drastically to like 250kb to be safe.

Most submissions are between 700-1000 pixels on the longest side (250k seems like the right range for it). Usually, I do 800x533, and save as jpeg in photoshop with the quality slider at 10, if that helps. If larger images are submitted, they will be resized anyways before I post them, so it's best for you to do it yourself, so you can do some last minute sharpening, etc.

I set up an export preset in Lightroom that automatically scales them down to 800px on the longest side, adjusts the sharpness for screen viewing, and places them in a separate subfolder. Then when I go to upload them they're easy to find, and at that size they upload pretty quickly. Easy as pie.
