New guy here at TPF, ready to learn!
Hey guys, my name is Raymond and I finally decided to join up over here after being recommended to the site by a few guys on different automotive forums I post on.
I'm from Miami, FL and have been into photography for a few years now. I'm actually currently taking my first Interm Photography course at Miami Dade college this semester and just had my first class today. I'm strongly considering making this my major and persuing a degree in photography.
I used to shoot with a point'n'shoot Kodak Easyshare Z760 and got to the point where I couldn't get any better pictures out of it. I was limited with the manual settings but still was able to get pretty quality pictures out of it.
I've been saving up and recently stepped up to the DSLR world and purchased a Canon Digital Rebel XT (silver body) with the 18-55 kit lens. I feel like I'm learning to take pictures all over again with this thing and enjoy learning new things every time I go out to take pictures.
Anyways, enough typing.. I figured I'd post up some of my favorite pictures I've taken with the camera since I got it about a month ago. Made a separate thread here:
