    Hello From NJ

    New to DSLR's, well im new to photography all together. Im ordering my camera this upcoming week. It will be a 50d with IS lens
    Canon | EOS 50D SLR Digital Camera with 18-135mm IS Lens | | B&H
    Im sold on Canon because my father has a 5d with 4-5 nice lenses. So they will be somewhat available. And as far as canon goes this falls right in my price range. My first question is am I better off getting body only and picking out my own lens or is this a good deal. My next question is how do i use it?(Joke, well kind of) I just need to get it do alot of reading and alot of practice. Perhaps a course at a community college.

    Hey - I took a quick on-location course as brookdale, but i am thinking of taking their non-credit 101 course this summer
