Hello
Hey!
I'm Anna, I'm 16 years old, and live not far from Newcastle, UK.
I am quite creative and arty. I decided to get into photography because I like taking photographs, you know making something beautiful last forever. I think beauty comes in all shapes, sizes, structures, etc. I find taking photographs helps you to discover where that beauty truly lies, it sort of helps me reflect moods and feelings, etc.
Dunno if I explained myself well enough there ...
Anyway, I don't really know what to write in this meet and greet thingy.
Here is a poem I wrote ... maybe that would be better than rambling on.
The Stream
The stream slowly glides through the world,
Sometimes speeding up, falling, going less smoothly,
But it always manages to pick itself up again.
Here I think, I dream, I imagine.
Here I see the world as I want it,
Here I see myself the way I should become,
Here I see my thoughts and ideas taking their true shape.
Here I think, I dream, I imagine.
I connect with the stream,
Like it connects to the river.
I glide through the world at my own drum beat,
Sometimes I may tumble and fall,
But I pick myself back up again,
I survive.
Here I think, I dream, I imagine.
Here I see what was wrong with the world,
Here I see what was wrong with myself,
Here I see my thoughts and ideas taking their true shape.
Here I think, I dream, I imagine.

welcome to the forum! Your poem is really deep and written in a very warm way. I'm sure you'll have a great time here... just look how many posts I've already written and I'm far from the best post-ers here
