Hello from the High Desert
Hi, my name is Matt and I just registered here. I am an amateur photographer and have been having fun with it since buying a D90 last year. I started as a member of the Cleveland Photographic Society and recently moved to the desert outside LA.
I am an aerospace engineer during the day and enjoy shooitng aircraft, landscapes, water, macro, and abstracts.
I'd love feedback on my photos and am looking forward to learning a lot from these forums.
Thanks!

Welcome aboard Matt.
There's no correlation between creativity and equipment ownership. None. Zilch. Nada. Actually, as the artist gets more into his thing, and as he gets more successful, his number of tools tends to go down. He knows what works for him. Expending mental energy on stuff wastes time.
