First post and intro!
Hello everyone! Very excited to be a new member and I've already learned a ton by reading a bunch of threads! I am an amateur and a beginner to all things photography but I am looking forward to developing! I have a Canon 500d, I know it's a bit out-dated and kind of at the bottom but I have it for now to start learning. I am a 26 yr old male from Tucson, AZ. I started a flickr and I have posted a few things, very amateur-ish but working on improving

Welcome to TPF! Most members aren't going to bother browsing through your entire Flickr photostream to comment on it - pick a few of your favorites and post them here, and you'll get a much better response.

Feel free (and more so invited) to post photos from your Flickr to one or the other of our galleries, that's where we are all showing our work.
What you've been posting here looks good, like a step past the "very beginner's" stage, I say.
So feel at home, look at other photos, comment on those, have peopel comment on yours or critique them ... that's what it's all about.
