    wink Hello from Pittsburgh, PA!

    Hi everyone! I'm new to the forum here and thought I'd introduce myself. I'm a single mom with a BS in Forensic Science, but work in Finance. I've been a photography lover for about eleven years. I'm not real experienced with a camera, but have managed to get some decent shots that have won some local awards and recognition. Everyone says I have an eye for photography...I just don't have the knowledge...lol. Anyways, I have a Canon T2i with a really old Canon 75-300 mm zoom that is long overdue for being replaced and an 18-55mm that came with my camera. I mostly photograph nature/scenic/landscape and animals. I've done some sports photography as well. The only portraiture I do, is not really portraiture, it's more of candid shots of my nine year old daughter.

    Welcome aboard.
    There's no correlation between creativity and equipment ownership. None. Zilch. Nada. Actually, as the artist gets more into his thing, and as he gets more successful, his number of tools tends to go down. He knows what works for him. Expending mental energy on stuff wastes time.
