Tsongmo Lake - Eastern Sikkim - India

This was shot during my visit to India last year, when we're coming back from the Ind0-China border in eastern Sikkim. The weather was overcast and it would change very quickly from turn to turn. We parked on the side of the road as this was the clearest I had seen the lake from the mountains.

    24-70mm softer than 35-70mm at 70mm?

Has anyone noticed that their 24-70mm is soft at 70mm? I bring this up because I noticed that my GF's 35-70mm is sharper @ 70mm than my 24-70mm both at f/2.8. I had the lens repaired in March but only noticed this recently. I will have another 24-70mm to compare in a week. Until then, anyone...

    24-70mm stuck zoom

As the title says, my 24-70mm is stuck. It won't zoom out and is stuck at 70mm now. This happened during a wedding but I was alright as I had the 35-70mm as backup. I'm going to send it in to get fixed but was just curious. What would cause the lenses to get stuck? Anyone have any experience...

    FS: Nikon AF-S 24-70mm f/2.8G ED Lens

***SOLD*** Time to part with my Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8G ED. I received the lens as a gift and have not made enough use to justify keeping it. I shoot primarily during traveling and prefer a more versatile lens with greater zoom range, especially since I shoot with a d90. Even after bringing it...

    Decisions.... help

I've been over analyzing this for over a month now, so I thought I would get some other opinions on it. I currently have the 28-135mm kit lens. The problems are that it is not fixed aperture and I do not feel that I get good sharp images from it. As most of you know I shoot sports, landscape...
