canon 1dx battery failure dead

I have two batteries. One has completely failed whilst in the camera. One battery works completely fine, the other is completely dead, will not charge, will not reset. I've read about a fault with the 1DX, but that seems to be the camera, not the batteries which are affected. Any ideas any...
