Hello Community,
during the Corona period, I discovered timelapse photography for myself and was able to capture a sunset and some beautiful clouds. Just take a look.
Known for their incredible mountain peaks, besides these the Dolomites offer a vaste range of different, and amazing, photographic opportunities. Here is a misty morning on Lake Dobbiaco, 20 seconds with Hasselblad X1D, Hasselblad XCD 90mm & Formatt-Hitech Firecrest Ultra filters:
And here a...
Val d'Orcia, in Tuscany, is quintessential and iconic Italy. I am fortunate enough to go multiple times a year to photograph there, and each time is an amazing experience for me. A 23 seconds exposure at sunset with my Hasselblad X1D, Hasselblad XCD 45mm and my Formatt-Hitech Firecrest Ultra...
So I took a break from editing yesterday to go get the new lens. Having another crack at a couple of shots again today, this is another one from the other morning.. Sunrise just peeking in on the horizon and the city glowing beneath the clouds. The stars were pretty much invisible to the naked...
So, I was working on this edit when I thought it was a nice idea to try this in Black and White for the challenge. It was quite well received but my main aim to to edit in full colour. So here it is in colour, which one do you prefer?

I've not been shooting too much lately with the weather and whiteout skies, So I have been re-organising my files, during which I came across this old shot from Ireland. A typically moody Irish sky in Cobh taken a few years ago; D7000/Tokina 12-24.
C&C welcomed, It's often nice for me to look...

Hiked into Skookumchuck Narrows in Egmont, BC. As the tide changes the section to the west of this photo develops rapids. The photo's don't show it, I couldn't get low enough, at the peak of the tide change the swells of the rapid were about 4-5 feet high. I wish I could have got more angle's...
I spent quite a bit of time on this photo going back and forth with processing. I uploaded a subtle color version to Instagram and for some reason I didn't like it. It felt like it wasn't "me". So I slept on it and when I looked at it this morning, I really felt a dramatic black and white was...
I took a few pictures of downtown Edinburgh the other night just before and after golden hour. Any CC is welcome as I've only started doing photography with a DSLR this year.

Hi everyone! I am fairly new to DSLR but have been serious about capturing life's moments since I was 9...I used a 35 mm film camera as a youngster and then graduated to a point and click. I've had my Nikon D3400 going on two months and have been practicing every day! Let me know what you think...
I waited all week for the clouds to clear so I could go outside and shoot for the new moon. No luck. Tonight, it seemed, was going to be my night. And it was! ...for three minutes before new clouds rolled in really fast. I wasn't really pleased with any of my shots, so these are all pushed in...
