I debated where I should share this photo but I ultimately decided to place it in the b&w gallery because when I took this shot I deliberately wanted it to be in black & white.
I was walking about and noticed this tiny big chilling out on top of one of these leafs from a blooming tree and for...
I searched for a while trying to find the perfect one. There are thousands of these wild violet flowers all over my lawn. I managed to find this one that was almost all alone and had a clean background.
It's kind of simple and clean shot which is what I was going for.

Yesterday evening I happened to take a peek outside while the sun was going down and I notice a ray of light hitting this dandelion so I quickly ran inside and grabbed my camera and voila. I didn't have much time, I mean the light was gone in 30 seconds so I didn't get my settings changed fast...
Today I was able to get some hummingbirds for the first time in my bud's backyard. I just need an outside opinion on my shots though since I don't feel I can tell if they're okay, so here's a few of them! Thanks in advance!
I shot with a Nikon D7200 with a Nikkor 200-500 lens, and ISO at 2000...
An adult Bald Eagle in what I believe to be week 5 of incubating eggs. Its hard to tell if its a female or male, the two will trade off occasionally and their nearly identical birds.
Here the Eagle is either waiting on some food or a shift change...or both.

I am so proud of my self for taking this shot. I've been planning this shot for a long time and I finally nailed it! I've been wanting to get a shot of a oak leaf in a puddle with its reflection. But I could never for the life of me find an oak leaf. But I did today and there was a puddle so I...
The wife and I traveled to New England, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia this past October during which time we visited Wolfville, NS where I captured this panoramic shot and one of the two cover bridges in St Martin, New Brunswick.
My second post today and to the Forum. I captured this guy this past summer and intentionally created the bokeh aspect. Always open to C&C as this is how I/we learn going forward.
Best regards,
Mark

This photo was taken awhile ago at our...

Went on a trip this past weekend and came across a Snowy Owl while taking my Sam (3y/o named Apollo) to the beach.

Tennessee always takes forever to turn colors, which I kind of like and kind of hate. Fall is my favorite time of year and its always frustrating to watch the rest of the world get color while I'm still sitting in 85 and humid with lots of green. That being said... our fall colors usually last...
For years now I've been wanting to get a picture of a Monarch butterfly and while visiting the Hampton Beach in NH yesterday, I saw one drinking some nectar from these large red clovers on the boardwalk (or cement walk) and he stayed there for a while so I was able to whip out my 70-200 and get...
