I've been looking for a spot with a clean south facing horizon line for a while for my Milky Way photos.. I have lots of silhouette ideas. Finally found a location and had conditions line up, so I took this photo last night. It's just missing E.T.

Yesterday evening I happened to take a peek outside while the sun was going down and I notice a ray of light hitting this dandelion so I quickly ran inside and grabbed my camera and voila. I didn't have much time, I mean the light was gone in 30 seconds so I didn't get my settings changed fast...
I just happened to wake up and saw the really red/magenta color reflecting off the wall and I immediately jumped out of the bed, grabbed my camera and swapped lenses in the dark and ran outside and took this shot. Seconds after, it was gone.

Went for a evening walk/hike on a 3 mile trail loop and when I got back out the sky was looking like this! I didn't have my camera with me, I feel ashamed. But since I was primarily walking/hiking for exercising, I really didn't want to be in a photography mood otherwise I'll never get out of...
