The idea isn't revolutionary nor is it new... its been known and used for years and years.
This is also a thread that pops up here every quarter or so.
But yeh.. it works... I'd rather have a monopod though. Part of the beauty of a monopod is to limit fatigue in your arms which can also lead to an unstead stance.
I'm waiting for someone to post a thread about the Canon 1200mm for the nth time...

Yeah, it works. The result isn't exactly amazing, but it does help a little.
It has been posted in the beginners section before, and only a couple of months ago.
My father was using this in the late 60's early 70's... lol
It is only good for vertical movement, not horizontal.
