Hey guys,

If you have this lens, would you mind posting some cool macro shots? I'm currently renting it for 2 weeks and I'm playing around with it but I'm still having trouble getting shots that I like. I know it'll take time. Here's my first attempt, not so interesting to me.

Thanks, jules

100mm macro lens? What brand? I have a 105mm sigma macro, does that count for what you are looking for?

Lens at F/2.8, on tripod, distance was about 8-inches. Speed was 125 and no flash was used. ISO was 100.

I also have another pic posted here on this board with the same lens... a shot of a flower with a bee in it. It's so clear that you can see near every individual hair on it's legs. The 100-105mm range is likely the best compromise of a macro and portrait lens, even on a cropped factor camera.

EXIF should be intact... Yup, f/11 @1/200.

Here is a few also with the Sigma 105 (the EXIF is still embedded), all handheld and I used a SB800 flash for the first two shots. I really like the 100/105mm range.
