120mm enlarger

Hey i'm looking to buy a 120mm enlarger. Any suggestion on what brand or model? I'm a begginer so I'm looking for a cheap enlarger with just the essentials. Thanks for your help

I bought a cheap secondhand Meopta Magnifax 4a a few years ago, which goes up to 6x9. Those are still being made in Czech Republic so part availability is not an issue (at least in the UK, parts are readily available). This enlarger is well built and really sturdy and does the job very well.

Omega D2's can usually be had for cheap, maybe even for nothing when people are throwing them out during spring cleaning.

It's a 4x5 unit, very durable, a pleasure to use, and in case you want to grow with it, parts like dichroic heads and neg carriers are ready available.
