I'd like to know if my photos are any good. I uploaded these without editing. I'm kind of working on my photoshop skills.

I'd say these shots are successful. the white in the building is a little overexposed but nice shots.

adjusting brightness might even help. Its not that it looks bad its just pretty bright.

little to dark but do you see all the detail that appears when it got darker?

Try to find a middle ground where you have details in both the highlights and shadows. The image isn't too bad, I personally would have framed it a little more to the right. There isn't really too much in the image that acts as a subject, at least the way your framed it.

Try the Highlights & Shadows Tool (in Aperture) or it's equivalent in Photoshop (Shadow/Highlight). Take the original image and turn up the Highlights slider to 1/3 of the way through and be happy

I would have adjusted it with Levels in the Adjustments. You get three sliders to play with and they show resuluts quickly. I do use Contrast and Brightness too but, not always.
