    Check this out

In the statistics, you see 3600x3600 pixel resolution which comes out to nearly 13 Million Pixels...

Now, if I'm understanding everything correctly here in relation to Digicams, this would make slide scanning superior still...

Can anyone tell me what I'm getting wrong if anything?

    Can others edit my Photos:
    Photos NOT OK to edit
With that same school of thought, the Minolta scan dual which I purchased for $280 after shipping is about 10.8 megapixels. Not too shabby.

The Scan Dual III has a much better dynamic range, too. Plus it's half the price ;).
