$159 Sigma Macro 90mm f/2.8? Will this work?

    Will this work with newer digital cameras? I'm just looking for a step up from my reverse macro, but don't want to spend 400-600 on a macro lens. Manual Focus is fine.

    No, it won't. It is designed for the FD mount system (like on the old AE-1 series). The last camera that this would work on was made in about 1990 (ish).

    As Sabbath99 says, the Canon FD and EF mounts are not compatible.

    But you could try looking for a macro lens for the Nikon mount or the M42 screw mount, and an adapter. With the right adapter either would work ok on your 40D.
